Fall Colors

North Carolina photos are finally complete! It was a great time up in the mountains. I want to thank my host Henry and his truly amazing home in Lake Lure. Despite some rain the first two days there, I got two good days to shoot. Light changes quickly in the mountains and it was a great learning experience. I timed the foliage change perfectly. Luck was on my side. When I got there the leaves were almost full in color. The day I left most of the leaves were gone from the trees.

Off on assignment...

I am all packed and ready to depart to the Smoke Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. I will be doing a photo shoot on the change of seasons. The fall colors should be peaking as my plane lands. I will bring back photos to share. Check back with my web site soon.

After a few delays my web site went live this morning. I hope you take the time to look through it and offer your comments here in this blog. Like anything in the internet, it is still work in progress but I believe it is about 80% finished. Good enough to share. Sort of a beta test of the site.

If you see any errors or defects in the site leave a comment here. The site is a flash site so you will need the latest flash plug in. It is designed for the new larger monitors that everyone is getting these days. If you have smaller then a 17" monitor you will need to scroll around a bit. Sorry for the inconvenience but my programer tells me that its the current trend.

I am very excited about taking first place in the Fifth Annual Art Competition in Pembroke Pines. There were some very good photographs. I am happy that mine was selected as the best.

I look forward to competing more and establishing a presence in the field. My goal are lofty and I see myself there already. I just have to convince everyone else!
